The Phoenix Suns announced Monday that center Alex Len has officially signed a one-year, $4.2 million qualifying offer with the team.

The deal comes just before training camp, which begins on Tuesday.

The 7-footer has played four seasons for the Suns since the team chose Len with the fifth overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.

In the 2016-2017 season, Len played in 77 games and averaged 8.0 points on 49.7 percent shooting, 6.6 rebounds and led the team with 1.27 blocks per game. Through 34 games as a starter, Len posted 9.3 points on 51.9 percent shooting, 7.8 rebounds and 1.47 blocks per game.

Len currently ranks 12th in Suns franchise history with 283 blocked shots.

Originally from Antratsit, Ukraine, Len played at the University of Maryland for two seasons before joining the Suns in 2013.

With Len’s latest signing, the Suns’ roster currently stands at 20.
