Diamondbacks announce NL Wild Card Game starter

The Arizona Diamondbacks announced who is going to be on the bump for the Oct. 4 Wild Card showdown Saturday.
And as no surprise, Zack Greinke will take the hill for the Snakes.
This season Greinke has been money at home, going 13-1 this season at Chase Field. When he is on the mound , the D-backs are 15-3 at home. The Colorado Rockies accounted for two of those three losses.
He is 2-1 with a 3.41 ERA in five starts against Colorado, who has hit .229 against him. He’s never allowed a homer to Rockies leaders Nolan Arenado (.277/.306/.447) or Charlie Blackmon (.265/.302/.367).
The D-backs ace went at least 6.0 innings in every one of his five outings against Colorado. His worst game, the first meeting of the year, saw Greinke give up home runs to Trevor Story, Alexi Amarista and Mark Reynolds — yet he was still in line to win before closer Fernando Rodney blew a 6-4 Arizona lead in the ninth in a 7-6 loss.
On the season overall, Greinke is 17-7 with a 3.20 ERA, striking out 215 in the process.
