Watch: D-backs guests join 98.7 FM on Wild Card Wednesday

With Wild Card Wednesday in full effect, 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station is out at Chase Field for all your D-backs coverage leading up to the NL Wild Card Game against the Colorado Rockies.

Shows will be talking with special guests from the organization and people close with the team throughout the day.

Former Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Luis Gonzalez, who currently serves as a senior advisor to the president and CEO, stopped by to talk with Doug & Wolf about how players might be feeling leading up to Wednesday’s game and what it’s like to be in an elimination game at Chase Field.

Gonzalez was a part of the World Series team that brought home the win after a seven-game series in 2002.

D-backs catcher Chris Iannetta joined us to talk about his work ethic, Zack Greinke and his facial injury early in the season.

Later, assistant general manager Jared Porter discussed the Wild Card roster construction with four starting pitcher, Daniel Descalso being put in the lineup and confidence in the bullpen.
