Roadrunners to sport Darth Vader-themed jerseys on Star Wars Night
The force will be strong with the Tucson Roadrunners this winter.
The Roadrunners will be sporting Darth Vader jerseys on Star Wars Night Dec. 23 on the ice. The jersey was decided by 60.5 percent of a fan vote.

An interesting, unusual look to say the least.
Other hockey teams are not shy about their jersey attire as a junior hockey team, the Muskegon Lumberjacks, from last year sported a different look.

Arguably one of the most memorable, awful jerseys in recent memory has to go to the minor league baseball team, the Jackson Generals, who wore a Dorothy-themed ‘Wizard of Oz’ jersey.

The Roadrunners will also feature camo jerseys Nov. 10 and 11 as a part of First Responders Night and Military Appreciation Night.
The Roadrunners season debut will be on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. at Tucson Arena.
