GLENDALE, Ariz. – Once again, Robert Nkemdiche is a spectator.

The Arizona Cardinals second-year defensive lineman will not play this week. He’s inactive. Again. So, he will be in street clothes when the Cardinals host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6 at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Nkemdiche was a limited participant in practice all week as he deals with a calf injury that will now keep him out of a third straight game and has sidelined him for four of six games this season.

Overall, Nkemdiche, the Cardinals’ first-round draft pick in 2016, has missed 15 out of a possible 22 games thus far in his NFL career.

The good news along the Cardinals defensive line is that Corey Peters is good to go despite hurting his knee last week at Philadelphia.

Linebacker Karlos Dansby (hamstring), cornerback Patrick Peterson (quadriceps) and tackle Jared Veldheer (knee) are also playing despite their questionable status on Friday’s final injury report.

The remaining inactives are quarterback Blaine Gabbert, running back D.J. Foster, offensive lineman Daniel Munyer, defensive lineman Olsen Pierre, tight end Ricky Seals-Jones and wide receiver Chad Williams.

Pierre (ankle) had already been ruled out.

For the Buccaneers, linebacker Kwon Alexander, safety Josh Robinson, defensive end Ryan Russell and safety Keith Tandy are out due to injury and among the team’s listed inactives.

The others not in uniform for Tampa Bay are tight end Antony Auclair, center Joe Hawley and tackle Leonard Webster.

The Buccaneers do welcome the return of linebacker Lavonte David and safety T.J. Ward, both of whom had missed the last two games with ankle and hip injuries, respectively.
