Adrian Peterson didn’t get many touches with the New Orleans Saints.

He also didn’t produce much when he did.

But the downturn of a very successful NFL career? Don’t call it that just yet.

Be it circumstance or otherwise, the future Hall of Fame running back proved he’s still got gas left in the tank from the first touch on in his debut for the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday in a 38-33 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Less than a week after being dealt from New Orleans to Arizona, Peterson led Arizona to a touchdown on the first drive of the Week 6 showdown with the Buccaneers and continued setting up the most dynamic offensive performance yet for the Cardinals this season.

Thanks for the trade, Saints.

From fantasy folks to Cardinals fans — but probably not Saints fans — Peterson gave many people reasons to be happy through just the first half Sunday.

That meant lots of “The Office” memes. And more!
