Cardinals ready for loud Seattle crowd

PHOENIX – The Arizona Cardinals head into a big divisional match-up in Week 3 with the potential of facing a loud Seattle crowd.

The Seahawks at 0-2 are in a must win game and will be counting on their crowd to give them a significant home field advantage.

“There’s a lot at stake right now. They’re the defending champs and we got to go take it from them,” said quarterback Kevin Kolb after practice on Wednesday.

Coach Ken Whisenhunt believes scoring early will go a long way towards neutralizing that Seattle advantage.

“Whenever you play on the road, you want to do something early that will help take the crowd out of it,” said Whisenhunt.

Kolb isn’t too worried since the team is used to playing in hostile environments.

“If you’re on the road, every situation is loud and you have to be prepared for it,” said Kolb.

This is a big game for the Cardinals since they can put the defending division champions in a devastating 0-3 hole if they can get a big win on Sunday.
