Well that’s not good.
According to Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com, Beanie Wells was added to the team’s injury report Thursday, listed as “limited” due to a hamstring problem.
An injury to Wells is one of the last things the Cardinals would want right now, as the third-year pro is off to a great start as the team’s feature back.
The 23-year-old has tallied 183 yards and two touchdowns on just 32 carries, good enough for an average of 5.7 yards per run.
Furthermore, the team isn’t exactly deep at running back behind Wells. Veteran Chester Taylor would figure to be next in line, though he played in his first game as as Cardinal just last week. LaRod Stephens-Howling missed the game, and Alfonso Smith has yet to receive an NFL carry.
