Two college football polls included the Arizona Wildcats in their recent college football rankings Sunday.
In the USA Today Coaches Poll, the Wildcats find themselves at No. 25 after moving up six spots from last week.
Out of the Pac-12 schools, only Stanford (No. 18), USC (No. 17) and Washington (No. 11) joined Arizona in the rankings, while Washington State fell off the poll entirely.
But that’s not the only place Arizona is getting some love.
In the AP Poll, the Wildcats went from unranked to No. 23, while Washington State dropped 10 spots to No. 25.
After an impressive 58-37 win over then-No. 15 Washington State, The Wildcats sit at 6-2 and are right in the mix in the Pac-12 with a 4-1 conference record. Quarterback Khalil Tate showed why he’s been in the headlines Saturday night, throwing for 275 yards and two scores and adding 146 yards and another touchdown on the ground.
The Wildcats will look to move up the rankings when they head out of town to take on the USC Trojans next Saturday.
