Former Arizona Diamondback Max Scherzer is your 2017 National League Cy Young Award winner and two current D-backs got votes as well.
Zack Greinke finished fourth in the voting. He received one second-place vote, three third-place votes, 15 fourth-place votes and nine fifth-place votes.
Greinke followed up a disappointing 2016 debut season for Arizona with a strong 2017 campaign. He went 17-7 with a 3.20 ERA, making 32 starts and striking out 215. Greinke posted top-six ranked numbers in the NL for WHIP, ERA and strikeouts.
He also won his fourth consecutive Gold Glove Award earlier in the offseason.
Robbie Ray finished seven in the voting. He had one fourth-place vote and five fifth-place votes.
The left-hander had his breakout season in 2017, posting a 2.89 ERA and going 15-5. Ray’s 218 strikeouts were the third-most in the NL, and like Greinke, he also finished with a top-six WHIP and ERA in the NL.
