Navy will be debuting new uniforms for the always anticipated Army-Navy matchup.
The new uniforms are inspired by the Blue Angels, the flight demonstration squadron for the United States Navy.
The hand-painted helmets feature six F/A-18 Hornets in delta formation and chrome face masks that mirror the visors worn by Blue Angels pilots.

“Although the uniform departs from our customary characteristics, this tribute to the Blue Angels reflects the enthusiastic pride and appreciation we have for the Navy’s premier flying team and the motivation they convey to Navy football and the fleet at large,” said Naval Academy Director of Athletics Chet Gladchuk in a press release.
Other features include the U.S. flag on the left sleeve, a Blue Angels insignia on the right sleeve and stripe dimensions on the pants to match the flight suits worn by Blue Angels pilots.
The game takes place on Dec. 9.
