Second-year linebacker Gabe Martin re-joined the Arizona Cardinals on Tuesday after they signed him off the New Orleans Saints practice squad.
Additionally, Arizona released safety Harlan Miller and offensive lineman Vinston Painter.
Martin played in eight games for the Cardinals in 2016, recording four tackles on defense and two tackles plus a fumble recovery on special teams. He joined Arizona after going undrafted in 2015.
The Cardinals waived Martin on Aug. 5, and he played for New Orleans a week before being re-assigned to its practice squad in October.
Miller appeared in one game for Arizona this year and two as a rookie last season. He has seven tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery in his career.
Painter, in his third NFL season, was active in three games for the Cardinals this year.
