After booting four field goals, including a 57-yard game-winner last Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Arizona Cardinals kicker Phil Dawson was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week Wednesday.

The 57-yarder, which came with one second remaining in the fourth quarter of Arizona’s 27-24 win, was the longest in Dawson’s 19-year NFL career. It was also the third-longest field goal in Cardinals franchise history and his 40th career make of longer than 50 yards. Dawson is one of only six kickers in NFL history with that many 50-plus-yard field goals in a career.

The 42-year-old also connected from 32, 42 and 48 yards in the contest.

The award marks the fifth time in Dawson’s career that he’s won a weekly special teams honor and the first time since Week 5 of the 2014 season, when he was a member of the San Francisco 49ers.

Dawson joins receiver J.J. Nelson, running back Adrian Peterson and linebacker Karlos Dansby as Cardinals who have garnered weekly awards this season.
