Rattlers fall to second in AFL Power Rankings

Apr 17, 2013, 10:11 PM | Updated: 10:32 pm

The Arizona Rattlers fell one spot to second place in the Week 5 AFL Power Rankings following their 66-49 loss to the Spokane Shock Friday.

Spokane moved into the first place spot as one of only two teams undefeated in the league. The Jacksonville Sharks are the other, but sit at No. 6 in the poll.

Rattlers quarterback Nick Davila still ranks as the no. 2 passer in the league with 1,161 yards and 25 touchdowns.

He and the rest of the Rattlers offense will have their hands full Saturday as they face the San Antonio Talons, led by league sack leader Joe Sykes, Saturday at U.S. Airways Center.

The Talons rank ninth in the power poll with a 1-2 record and are coming off their first win of the season.

Kickoff between the Rattlers and San Antonio is set for 6 p.m.
