Rattlers retain top spot in AFL Coaches’ Poll

There’s really no doubt who the best team in the Arena Football League is right now.
Last Saturday, Nick Davila threw eight touchdown passes in less than three full quarters of play and an opportunistic defense forced five turnovers in the Arizona Rattlers’ 70-26 dismantling of the Iowa Barnstormers at US Airways Center.
For their efforts, the Rattlers sit atop the Arena Football League Coaches’ Poll for the fourth straight week. The rout of Iowa was Arizona’s third victory by at least 40 points this season.
The Rattlers hit the road for back-to-back contests starting Saturday against the Philadelphia Soul, the same team they beat in last year’s Arena Bowl and this year’s season opener in Phoenix.
