Patrick Peterson named Cardinals’ ‘Man of the Year’
For the second time in his career, Patrick Peterson has been named the Arizona Cardinals’ “Man of the Year.”
Peterson becomes one of 32 players in the league to be named the “Man of the Year” for its team. The NFL will select three nominees as finalists for the national version of the award, with a winner being announced at an awards special the night before Super Bowl LII.
His teammate Larry Fitzgerald was named the national “Man of the Year” last season along with New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning. Former Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner has also won it in 2008.
Peterson and other winners will be wearing a special decal on their helmet, a new element to the award this year.
Some of Peterson’s many contributions to the community include his “Foundation for Success” that has been looking to give low-income and inner-city youth opportunities and resources to reach their full potential since 2013.
