LISTEN: Doug & Wolf NFL Power Poll - Week 16

Losing belief in the Philadelphia Eagles seemed like a foregone conclusion last week, but it didn’t come in the form most expected.

Both Doug Franz and Ron Wolfley of Doug & Wolf on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station dropped the Eagles out of the top spot in their Week 16 NFL power poll rankings following Philly’s slim win over the 2-12 New York Giants.

“I’m not a believer in Nick Foles,” Wolf said of the quarterback who started in place of the injured Carson Wentz.

Foles did throw for four touchdowns and no picks, but concerns remain, leading both Doug and Wolf to pick the New England Patriots as the top team. Wolf, however, dropped Philadelphia all the way down to fifth in his power poll.

“Nick Foles was not the problem for Philadelphia. Focus was,” argued Doug, who dropped the Eagles to second. “That resume and that win … no way do they slide all the way to five.”

Here’s the rest of the guys’ top-5:

Doug

5 – Minnesota Vikings
4 – L.A. Rams
3 – Pittsburgh Steelers
2 – Philadelphia Eagles
1 – New England Patriots

Wolf
