Doug is staying strong with the Saints and Colts as 1-2 in his NFL Power Poll. The Cardinals? They fell with their loss on the road to the Titans with a back up quarterback, but only to number nine. Also, the Titans are crept their way up to spot No. 14 and have a BIG game on Sunday at Indianapolis.

1. SAINTS: So far above the pack…averaging 9.1y/pass |
![]() |
2. COLTS: Think Caldwell can coach–IND has given up only 9 1st downs by penalty (best in NFL) |
![]() |
3. VIKINGS: Converting 49% of 3rd downs…1st in sacks and 13th in sacks against with a +22 difference |
![]() |
4. CHARGERS: @CLE now and vWSH to end, everything else is a dog fight |
![]() |
5. BENGALS: Defense is 1st in pts/allowed (15.8/g) and second to IND with 10 1st downs allowed by penalty |
![]() |
6. COWBOYS: I thought Romo’s 93.9 rating was good until I realized it’s just 11th |
![]() |
7. EAGLES: +9 in TO ratio should put them higher than 7-4 |
![]() |
8. PATRIOTS: This hurts—only team in AFC with no road wins (I don’t count beating TB in London) |
![]() |
9. CARDINALS: If you can’t stop VY and CJ, you have no chance against Favre and AP |
![]() |
10. PACKERS: Only 1/7 on 4th downs, what are they doing?…only one gimmie left vSEA |
![]() |
11. STEELERS: All is well, they’re back as the #1 defense against the rush…6-5 isn’t good enough but 8-5 will be after vOAK and @CLE |
![]() |
12. BRONCOS: As bad as they’ve been, they still have 2 games against KC and one vOAK |
![]() |
13. RAVENS: They’ve had 3 games against CLE and KC, other than that the worst team they’ve played=PIT |
![]() |
14. TITANS: If they can get by @IND, they have three straight at home with one against STL |
![]() |
15. JAGUARS: They expect the Spikes comeback to make a big difference—I didn’t say I do…-20 in sack ratio |
![]() |
16. DOLPHINS: NE hasn’t won a road game on American soil and they are Wolf’s #5 team, that should guarantee a win for MIA…every stat except rushing is average, including record |
![]() |
17. GIANTS:: You’re 6-5 with vDAL and vPHI next; they’re done…only 7 teams have given up more points |
![]() |
18. TEXANS: The defense has given up 26 penalty 1st downs and they’re -6 in sack ratio |
![]() |
19. FALCONS: No Turner, maybe no Ryan, and vPHI & vNO next…no playoffs here |
![]() |
20. 49ERS: Only the Raiders have run fewer plays |
![]() |
21. JETS: Real chance to go on a run @BUF, @TB & vATL |
![]() |
22. BILLS: Still amazing to me their primetime home game is not @ their home |
![]() |
23. PANTHERS: He’s still under 60 for a passer rating and he still has 4 years left on that extension (I didn’t want to say who he is in respect to Mr. and Mrs. Delhomme) |
![]() |
24. BEARS: Opponents have 40 more 1st downs |
![]() |
25. SEAHAWKS: Not only have they given up 26 sacks but each sack is for -6 on average—someone step up in the pocket |
![]() |
26. CHIEFS: 3 straight home games with the chance to avoid complete embarrassment this year |
![]() |
27. RAIDERS: Giving up 950y more passing than they’ve earned |
![]() |
28. REDSKINS: vNO will actually be interesting as WSH has best pass defense |
![]() |
29. LIONS: Taking -11 TO ratio on the road @CIN & @BAL, won’t be pretty |
![]() |
30. RAMS: Boller has thrown half as many passes but he’s only one INT behind Bulger |
![]() |
31. BUCS: Even the punter’s out for the year |
![]() |
32. BROWNS: You’re 31st in defense and you lost Shaun Rogers |
