The Arizona Coyotes announced Monday they have recalled defenseman Kyle Capobianco from the American Hockey League’s Tucson Roadrunners.

Capobianco, 20, was drafted in the third round by the Coyotes in 2015. He appeared in four games for the Roadrunners last season and in 25 games this season, recording four goals and 13 assists along with 18 PIM.

In his short career, Capobianco has appeared in one game for the Coyotes, which came on Dec. 7 against the Boston Bruins.

Along with recalling Capobianco, the Coyotes announced Monday that they had re-assigned Andrew Campbell to Tucson.

Drafted in the third round by the Kings in the 2008 draft, Campbell’s career with the Coyotes first started in 2014 when he appeared in 33 games, recording one assist and 10 PIM.

Since, Campbell, 29, spent six games with the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2015-16 season as well as with Toronto’s AHL affiliate last season.

He returned to the Coyotes organization this offseason, signing a two-year, two-way contract. In 24 games for the Roadrunners this season, he has recorded one goal and three assists along with 18 PIM.

The Coyotes next game is Thursday against Nashville.
