GREGG POPOVICH: It’s clear why you didn’t play Tony Parker at the end of Game 6. He must be hurt much worse than the team is letting on.
TIM DUNCAN: I love how you blamed yourself for that layup you missed over Shane Battier. You are a true warrior. You still should have been suspended along with Boris Diaw and Amare Stoudemire back in 2007, but I respect you.
LEBRON JAMES: Outstanding. I still don’t see why you can’t give that kind of effort every game of the playoffs.
CHRIS BOSH: Erik Spoelstra was asked in the press conference if he was aware that you hadn’t scored. He said, “yeah,” with a funny laugh attached. Obviously, the laugh could be mocking the reporter who asked. The laugh could also be a sign of sarcasm from a coach who couldn’t hide his frustration any longer. My opinion his laugh represented a huge sigh of relief to say, “Thank goodness I don’t have to deal with him any longer.”
3-0=2… As in your zero points means you’re subtracted from the “Big 3.” Enjoy Charlotte.
