ASU football braces for its own Super Bowl

Sun Devil Stadium is 55 years old. It needs Botox and artificial hips. It’s about to stage its most significant event since hosting the BCS Championship Game in 2003.
But in terms of local rooting interest, this game feels a lot more like the 1996 clash between the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers. For ASU’s football program, this feels like their Super Bowl.
