Kansas State basketball throws it back with lavender jerseys

The Kansas State Wildcats are changing shades.
Usually donning jerseys with a purple-laden color scheme, they’ll be both lightening and darkening the tones when TCU visits Manhattan, Kan., on Saturday.
The Horned Frogs have a similar standard uniform color to Kansas State’s standard purple, but the Wildcats will surely be looking distinct for the matchup. Their jerseys will be a lighter lavender color, while the shorts will be a much darker purple.

A lavender set of Nikes should round out the uniforms nicely.
The jerseys are a throwback to the lavender sets worn in the 1970s. Kansas State went to a more standard purple in the 1980s.
