Shannon Brown wants you to call him, maybe

Shannon Brown is a music connoisseur of sorts, with an emphasis on “of sorts”.
The Phoenix Sun, who is married to singer Monica, was on BET’s 106 & Park with his wife to discuss his career, their marriage and life in general.
The 26-year-old, who was wearing a hat that said “THINK!” on the front (no word on if the back said “before you shoot”), was asked what music he listens to on game days. His answer may surprise you (but probably not).
“It all depends on what type of mood I’m in,” the shooting guard said. “One day I might put on some hard-core rap, then one day I might listen to my wife, then one day I might listen to — umm, what’s her name babe — the one who Call me maybe, that one?”
It’s Carly Rae Jepsen, Shannon, and while there have been no studies done, we’re pretty sure your season would have gone better if your choice in music wasn’t so poor.
Better music = better production. It’s science.
Anyway according to Monica, Brown actually listens to more music than she does, and she’s a musician!
At the same time, though, Call Me Maybe is hardly classified as “music,” so the jury is still out on the lady’s claim.
