The Arizona Wildcats took the social media world by storm Monday with the release of “Arizona Speed,” a video meant to call out those in NCAA football who want to slow the games down a bit in the name of player safety.
The video features Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock and head coach Rich Rodriguez, along with some clever writing and pretty solid video production.
As of 4:00 p.m. Monday the video has more than 3,500 YouTube views, which is a number that seems to be growing at a pretty solid rate.
But not to be outdone (or at least shown up), the ASU Sun Devils sent out a tweet of their own.

The Sun Devils have this countdown clock that, well, counts down until the Territorial Cup, which will be played next in Tucson on Nov. 28. The last time the teams met up the Devils coasted to a 58-21 victory.
Now, one may wonder why the Devils, who also employ a fast-paced, “high-octane” offense would want to go against the Wildcats for essentially promoting that style of play, but then again, it is a rivalry. So yeah, that.
