Daryn Colledge knows the Cardinals are close
Cardinals guard Daryn Colledge is finding the good with
the bad when you look at the Cardinals 1-3 record, a
record that could easily be reversed.
“It’s an encouragement in the fact that we know that we’re
right there but its also a huge disappointment because you
know how close you are to being on the opposite end and
being 4-0,” said Colledge.
The Cardinals have lost their last three games by margins
of one, three and four.
“We knew that there would be challenges, we had a lot of
guys replaced on offense and a new scheme on defense,”
said Colledge. “But like any group of professional men, we
want to win and that’s what is most important right now.”
The Cardinals head to Minnesota on Sunday to take on the
0-4 Vikings. If it is a close game, Cardinals fans might
start to worry.
“The only thing you can say is you have to continue to
work at it and learn from it,” said head coach Ken
Whisenhunt.
In a weak division, the Cardinals are only two games
behind the first place San Francisco 49ers, and a win in
Minnesota this week could get them back on track before
its too late.
