Steven Jackson wants to help save the running back

Since he entered the NFL as a first-round draft pick with the St. Louis Rams in 2004, Steven Jackson has been one of the game’s best running backs.
He has rushed for more than 1,000 yards eight times, caught more than 30 passes nine times, and scored a combined 77 touchdowns.
A true “three-down” back, he was usually the focal point of his team’s offense and rarely left the field.
But alas, he was one of the last of a dying breed. Nowadays, most running backs are part of a committee, sharing snaps and carries with teammates.
It’s a pain in the butt for fantasy football owners, and it’s something Jackson would like to see come to an end.
