Lou Amundson.
The name evokes a positive reaction in Phoenix as most fans fondly remember the ponytailed one’s time in a Suns uniform.
However, when one looks at Amundson’s career realistically, the fact is he’s not very good at basketball.
He’s worn as many uniforms in his nine-year NBA career as Will Ferrell wore during his Cactus League barnstorming tour earlier this month.
He’s just one of those likable end-of-the bench guys that seem to always land on a roster.
Except in New York, he’s a starter with the Knicks. Thursday night in a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Amundson showed a tremendous lack of offensive ability. Even though he attempted just one shot outside of two feet in the game, he finished 3-of-9 from the floor.
