Five-year-old cancer survivor Ryan Encinas stole the show at the Cleveland Browns’ Family Night scrimmage Saturday night.
Encinas, who was battling a left lung tumor, took a handoff from quarterback Brandon Weeden and ran in the end zone for a touchdown.
Little Heroes organization can be credited for making the special on the field moment happen for Encinas, who received his cancer diagnosis at age 2.
The Browns’ players carried Encinas off the field after his score, much to the crowd’s delight.
Encinas has been in remission for two years but will continue to be monitored by doctors.
