Memphis Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph did not let a bad game for his team get in the way of him being a good guy.
Late in 116-100 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder Wednesday night, Randolph left his team’s bench to have a chat with a young fan. The fan pointed to Randolph’s shirt, so naturally Z-Bo took it off and handed it to the kid, likely making his night in the process.
The 32-year-old Randolph is known for his good deeds, which earned him the NBA’s Kia Community Assist Award for the month of November after he helped distribute 900 Thanksgiving food baskets to needy families. Prior to Wednesday’s game, Randolph received a plaque in honor of his contributions.
