The Arizona Coyotes acquired prospects Jordan Maletta and Carter Camper from the Columbus Blue Jackets in a trade that cost them 22-year-old center Ryan Kujawinski, Arizona Sports’ Craig Morgan confirmed Monday.
BlueJackets.com’s Brian Hedger first reported the trade.
The 6-foot-3, 216-pound Maletta has played for the Cleveland Monsters of the AHL over the past two seasons. This year, the 22-year-old center has recorded four assists and no goals in 28 appearances.
In 2016-17, Maletta had 12 goals and 11 assists in 76 games.
Camper, 29, scored 13 goals and added 29 assists at forward for the Monsters.
Kujawinski has two assists in 19 appearances for the Tucson Roadrunners, the Coyotes’ AHL affiliate. He was a third-round pick in 2013 by New Jersey and was acquired by Arizona in a December deal that sent forward Michael Latta to the Devils.
