The Arizona Cardinals are 4-1 and on top of the NFC West. This Sunday, the Cards travel to play the winless Raiders in Oakland. Here are a few things we learned from the last game that can help the Cardinals continue their victorious ways.
Get after Derek Carr. He did an admirable job in finding open receivers and making strong accurate throws while extending plays last week against the San Diego Chargers. However, being a rookie makes it easier for the Cards to force mistakes.
The Raiders give up a lot of yards, completions, first downs and touchdowns when the ball is thrown, so Carson Palmer should throw the ball — a lot!
Lastly, the Cards’ defense is one of the best in taking the ball away from opponents. This trend needs to continue against the Raiders.
