Joey Porter, a trade that should happen?

Veteran linebacker Joey Porter has 14 tackles and one sack
for the Arizona Cardinals this season, but with a team
struggling to a 1-4 record the 34-year-old may be a better
fit for a team looking to win now.
The Cardinals, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Jason Cole, should
entertain trading the pass rusher before Tuesday’s
deadline.
If you like over-the-hill, egomaniacal 34-year-old former
pass rushers who don’t like to play the run, Porter is
your man. As sarcastic as that sounded, the mere mention
of “pass rusher” is enough to pique the interest of half
the general managers in the NFL, especially the many who
think their teams are still contending.
Cole suggests the Houston Texans, San Francisco 49ers and
San Diego Chargers as good fits for Porter, though it’s
hard to see Arizona sending him to a division rival.
That said, it is not as if Porter’s been having a great
season and there’s a good chance his best days are behind
him, so it may make sense to part with him and open up
playing time for some of the team’s young pass rushers.
