Lon Babby offers Suns fans an apology

It’s not very often in professional sports that a fanbase will get an apology from a team’s front office. After a 132-98 drubbing at the hands of the Denver Nuggets, the Phoenix Suns President of Basketball Operations did just that.
As a guest on Sports 620 KTAR’s Doug and Wolf show Wednesday morning, Lon Babby shared a very honest and downtrodden assessment of his franchise; an assessment that included an apology to the fans.
“The first thing I have to say is, I apologize on behalf of our team for that game last night,” he said. “We’re all watching the same thing and it doesn’t do me any good in my position to sugarcoat it.”
