Luis Scola spent exactly one season with the Phoenix Suns, but it was a long and frustrating one.
The Suns won an amnesty claim on the former Houston Rockets forward and Scola joined a team with an interesting mix of of young and veteran players.
During the season, the Suns fired their head coach and parted ways with two long-time assistants. It all led to a 25-win campaign — the second-worst in Suns’ history.
Scola was traded to the Indiana Pacers in the offseason, and ahead of playing against his former team for the first time Wednesday night, reflected on the trying season of 2012-13 with Arizona Sports’ Craig Grialou.
