Is Steve Nash getting ready for a career after basketball? Probably not, but if you read his Twitter account you might come to the conclusion that he has the chops to start a career in stand up comedy.

Guys, I’m feeling better this morning. I should feel great by the playoffs!!less than a minute ago via Echofon

That is just one of the many times Nash has shown his dry, yet funny, sense of humor throughout this rough season. Whether he’s being completely sarcastic or just wanting to give everyone a laugh is unclear but the reaction the tweets have elicited have certainly been good.

The playoff crack wasn’t the only joke he’s made over the last week. After a big loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on March 30, Nash send out a message to his legion of followers that made many chuckle.

Once again, not exactly a Jerry Seinfeld routine but it evoked laughs from those who read it.

After reading many of his tweets and seeing his viral videos it wouldn’t surprise us if one day, after he hangs up his sneakers, he picks up a mic. He easily could be headling a show at the Improv in no time.
