The Arizona Cardinals have added depth to their offensive line by re-signing center Daniel Munyer to a one-year contract.
Munyer earned a surprise roster spot on the Cardinals last year by beating out three other offensive lineman in summer camp.
He played in one game last year for the Cardinals before a toe injury placed him on injured reserve for the rest of the year.
Munyer is slated third on the depth chart at center behind starter A.Q. Shipley and backup Evan Boehm. He also has experience playing guard while in college at Colorado.
In 2015, after going undrafted, Munyer signed a contract with the Kansas City Chiefs and spent two years on and off their practice squad. Munyer appeared in one game for the Chiefs in 2015.
In 2016 Munyer signed with the Cardinals before making the initial 53-man roster in 2017.
