Nash’s future clouded as season draws to a close

Many fans are wondering what is in store for the face of the Phoenix Suns, Steve Nash, as the team puts the finishing touches on an undeniably disappointing season Wednesday night against the San Antonio Spurs.

Phoenix Suns President of Basketball Operations Lon Babby joined Sports 620 KTAR’s Doug and Wolf Wednesday morning to address what his closing remarks to Nash will be as the organization prepares to enter an offseason clouded in mystery.

“The conversation that we’ll have will just be a continuation of the conversations we’ve had all season long,” Babby said. “About the state of our team, how we can get better, what the future holds, and the changes we need to make to get [the team] into a situation where we are playing our last game next year and [instead] approaching it from the perspective of the Spurs and not the perspective we’re approaching it from tonight.”
