Free agent wide receiver and former Dallas Cowboy Brice Butler is scheduled to visit with the Arizona Cardinals in the next two weeks, according to NFL Network’s Jane Slater.

A seventh-round pick by the Oakland Raiders in 2013, Butler spent two seasons in Oakland before he was traded to Dallas in September of 2015.

In 36 games for the Cowboys, the 6-foot-3, 220-pounder had 43 catches for 794 yards and six touchdowns.

With only five receivers on the roster, the Cardinals previously showed interest in free agent Jordan Matthews, who visited the team on March 16.

Arizona has already seen two of its own free agent receivers depart this offseason. John Brown signed a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens, while Jaron Brown agreed to terms with the Seattle Seahawks.

As it currently stands, the Cardinals have five receivers on the roster for the 2018 season.

Along with Larry Fitzgerald, Carlton Agudosi, J.J. Nelson, Rashad Ross and Chad Williams make up Arizona’s wide receivers group.
