Get to know the D-backs’ 2018 Opening Day roster

They’re ready to build on a 2017 NLDS run.
The Arizona Diamondbacks finalized their 2018 Opening Day roster on Thursday with a season opener against the Colorado Rockies on deck.
Of notable missing players from the 25-man roster, starting outfielder Steven Souza Jr. and reliever Randall Delgado begin the regular season on the 10-day disabled list. They join starting pitcher Shelby Miller on the disabled list, though he is on the 60-day DL.
The active roster includes 12 relief pitchers, three catchers, six infielders and four outfielders. Returning players who were on the D-backs a year ago make up 19 of the 25 spots.
