Opening Day is a day away.

The Arizona Diamondbacks will begin the follow-up to an impressive 93-win 2017 season on Thursday against the Colorado Rockies at 7:10 p.m. on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.

A 3-3 tie with the Cleveland Indians Tuesday night concluded the D-backs’ slate of games before the season is officially underway.

Here’s a look at how the D-backs did in spring training, by the numbers.

.452

The star of spring was middle infielder Ketel Marte, who got a whole lot richer recently with a five-year contract extension. His play in the spring followed an impressive playoff run last season. He hit a team-high .452 from the plate with 19 hits, seven walks and four RBI.

5

With the injury to Steven Souza Jr., the D-backs will be relying on Jarrod Dyson even more than originally planned. Dyson did not have the best spring, hitting .161 in 31 at-bats, totaling just five hits.

4

The only other prominent name on the spring roster to hit worse than Dyson was new catcher Alex Avila, who had only four hits in 30 at-bats.

14

With J.D. Martinez gone and Souza starting the season on the DL, the responsibility of bringing the runs home behind Paul Goldschmidt will fall on Jake Lamb. The third baseman got off to a good start this spring. He had a team-high 14 RBI in 41 at-bats, posting a line of .293/.415/.683.

15

Goldschmidt was his usual self in spring, hitting .304, but a notable 15 of his 32 outs came via strikeouts. It’s safe to say that won’t hold for the regular season.

20.1

Coming off a tremendous 2017 season, right-hander Zack Godley got right back to where he left off in spring. Throwing a team-high 20.1 innings, Godley finished spring with a 2.21 ERA and opposing hitters posted a .134 batting average off of him.

1.65

Robbie Ray walked 10 hitters, the most of all D-backs pitchers this spring. That made for a 1.65 WHIP across the 13.1 innings, the worst on the team of any pitcher who tossed at least 10 innings. Patrick Corbin checked in just behind him with a 1.64 WHIP in 11 innings.

The D-backs’ new closer, Brad Boxberger, only allowed one earned run, four hits and zero walks in his 6.0 innings of work this spring.
