Film to cover Nash from different angle

Phoenix Suns fans may think they know Steve Nash, but
they’re about to get a whole new perspective on the point
guard.
“Nash,” a documentary set to be released in late
2011/early 2012, will give fans an inside look into the
two-time MVP’s life.
According to Suns.com, though, it almost didn’t
happen.
“He was a bit reluctant about it,” director Michael
Hamilton laughed. “He likes to keep to himself in his
private life. Having a friendship with him and his
foundation, he gave us his blessing to be around him. We
had no idea it was going to be something this big.
The film will cover Nash over the course of two years, and
it comes recommended by some of Hollywood’s elite.
The production was also blessed with some first-person
Hollywood testimonials, including those of producer Ron
Howard, “Entourage” creator Doug Ellin and actor Owen
Wilson.“They love Steve, and they are obviously fans of his,”
Hamilton said. “That was the reason we got these guys
involved. We only got people who Steve knows. They push
the story along.”
A movie about an NBA MVP that is backed by Hollywood
stars? Sounds like this is going to be pretty good.
