Coyotes goalie Antti Raanta was named one of the NHL’s Three Stars of the Week on Monday after posting a 3-0-0 record during the stretch.

Raanta led the Coyotes to wins over the playoff bound Tampa Bay Lightning and Vegas Golden Knights. He also posted a 34-save shutout in a 6-0 drubbing of the St. Louis Blues, a team in the thick of the playoff hunt.

The 28-year-old Finnish netminder has appeared in 45 games this season, going 20-16-6.

He has really turned it on since the beginning of the calendar year by posting a .940 save percentage and 1.87 goals-against average in 2018.

Overall for the season, Raanta’s 2.27 goals-against average ranks third in the NHL, while his save percentage of .929 ranks fourth.

The Coyotes (28-40-11) have only won eight games this season without Raanta between the pipes.

The first star of the week went to Golden Knights center William Karlsson, who scored two short-handed goals including a between-the-legs breakaway goal on the San Jose Sharks on Saturday.

Jack Eichel of the Sabres earned the third star of the week after logging five assists against the Nashville Predators on Saturday.
