Nike emblazoned a basketball sneaker with a DB logo before Devin Booker’s 21st birthday.
Now, a leak of a new Kobe AD player exclusive (PE) indicates Booker is about to have his face pasted straight on the brand’s patented swoosh.
The J23 App leaked a set of pictures showing a PE colorway featuring the Phoenix Suns guard to Twitter Monday.

Two images of Booker appear both on the Nike Swoosh along the side of the shoes, and individually on the heel of the left and right insoles.
The rest of the sneaker is a deep purple, while the sole has an orange hue fading into gray. An orange Kobe logo sits on the tongue of the kicks.
According to J23, the Booker PE is expected to drop on April 16.
In Booker’s second NBA season, Nike released a Booker PE version of its Zoom Rev basketball shoe just after the release of the standard version.
That was the beginning of Nike’s relationship of designing fresh shoes for Booker. The guard has since had PE versions of several Nike Hyperdunks.

One of those Hyperdunks were on display as Booker scored 70 points against the Boston Celtics in March 2017.

And while winning the Three-Point Contest at 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend, Booker rocked an orange camouflage PE version of the UNDEFEATED X Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Protros.

It’s safe to say Nike views Booker as a key influencer already. Only time will tell whether he’ll be asked by Nike to design a shoe model altogether.
