Miami Heat interested in Grant Hill

The Miami Heat are looking to improve, possibly at the Suns’ expense.

According to Devon Alexandre of Slam Online, the Heat are interested in one Phoenix veteran.

The #Heat have also expressed interest in Tayshaun Prince, and Grant Hill. Fair to say they are looking for a veteran, winning presence.less than a minute ago via web Favorite Retweet Reply

Looking at players such as Hill and Prince is a sign that the Heat are searching for someone with playoff experience who, while not a star, can fill a role.

Both Hill and Prince would be nice additions to the Miami roster, but it is unclear as to how the Miami Heat have “expressed interest.”

The league is locked out meaning clubs cannot talk to players or agents, thus it would be difficult to express interest in a player.

Hill has played in the playoffs seven times, twice with the Suns, and has averaged 13.6 points per game in the postseason.

While some teams are probably talking and hoping not to get caught, it seems unlikely they would say anything publicly.

Hill has expressed a desire to remain in the Valley, but the chance to win a title with the Big Three in Miami may be too much to pass up.
