In 2014, the Arizona Diamondbacks picked up outfielder Galli Cribbs from Bellevue University. Four years later, Cribbs completed a cycle for the Jackson Generals, Arizona’s Double-A affiliate.
As if the accomplishment wasn’t impressive enough, the 25-year-old from Sugar Land, Texas was the first to hit a cycle in the Southern League Cycle since 2016 and the General’s first cycle since 2013.
This year, Cribbs is batting .486 with two home runs and eight RBI in only 11 games.
Cribbs’ performance this season has helped the Generals jump to a hot 10-2 start, which is the best record in the Southern League.
In college, Cribbs played one season where he hit three home runs, stole 25 bases, drove in 49 RBIs and batted .344.
