A free agent, Grant Hill has four teams to choose from

The Phoenix Suns want to bring Grant Hill back.

From all accounts, Grant Hill would like to come back to
the Phoenix Suns.

So, why is it that the veteran could find himself with a
different team next season?

According to NBA.com’s David
Aldridge
, the Clippers, Bulls and Knicks all have
something to offer Hill that the Suns, quite frankly,
don’t.

Aldridge points out that the Clippers offer a chance for
Hill to start and be part of a team that is ascending, as
he’d have the chance to play with young stars like Blake
Griffin and Eric Gordon.

The Bulls, of course, would give Hill a great opportunity
to win his first NBA Championship, as they are one of the
favorites entering the season and would be even better
with a player of Hill’s caliber.

The Knicks, on the other hand, offer a little of both, as
they are a playoff team that is not quite there yet. Would
Hill be the difference for former coach Mike D’Antoni’s
squad? Maybe.

The decision, which should come fairly soon, will not be
an easy one for the 39-year-old Hill. He’s spent the last
four seasons in Phoenix, where the training staff has done
a great job of helping the former star put his injury woes
behind him. Now healthy, moving on to a contender may seem
like the best option, but one the Suns and fans would
rather not see come to fruition.
