Snapshot: Cardinals fall short against Steelers

Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb met a lot of Pittsburgh Steelers players on Sunday. He was only sacked twice, but Kolb saw a lot of pressure coming his way, which played a big part in his going 18-for-34 with one interception. Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger picked apart the Cardinals defense. He threw for three touchdowns and didn't give up an interception, but his ability to scramble frustrated the Cardinals, who had decent penetration but couldn't get to Big Ben. A 73-yard touchdown reception by LaRod Stephens-Howling looked to be the turning point in the game, but the Cardinals couldn't keep the momentum. The Steelers managed to turn their then three point lead into a 12-point win. It looks like another rough season for Cardinals running back Beanie Wells, who left the game at the two-minute warning in the first half. Reports initially said that Wells sprained his knee, but there was no estimate as to if he would be back next week or out for a few weeks. Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald was not smiling for most of the game. The Cardinals committed penalty after penalty in crucial situations and couldn't get much going on offense. Now sitting at 1-5, it's unlikely that Fitz will be smiling much more this season.
