Dec 7, 2011, 12:20 AM | Updated: 12:38 am

The NBA released its truncated 66-game regular season
schedule on Tuesday, and for the Phoenix Suns, the
campaign gets started the day after Christmas. Monday,
December 26th, Phoenix will tip-off their 44th season
against the New Orleans Hornets in downtown Phoenix.

The Suns will play two sets of back-to-back-to-back games
this season. On February 13, 14 and 15, Alvin Gentry’s
team will be on the road at Golden State, at Denver and
then they’ll return to U.S. Airways Center to host the
Atlanta Hawks. Phoenix will also play three straight from
March 14th through the 16th when they tangle with Utah and
Detroit at home, with a quick trip to Los Angeles to play
the Clippers sandwiched in between.

Phoenix will also be featured on national television 16
times during the season; 9 on ESPN/ESPN2, 5 on NBA TV and
