Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield is going to have quite the Thursday. 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s John Gambadoro believes he could even have his name be the first called in the 2018 NFL Draft.
That’s a lot to get ready for but Mayfield seems to be well-prepared for his big day.
That included recreating the infamous photo of former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre when he was drafted.
“There are those people who are in your corner no matter what, you can’t do any wrong, even when you do wrong. And then there are those people that no matter what you do they’re going to dislike you and that’s not going to change.” – Brett Favre #DraftEve #MMO pic.twitter.com/6bCE9SxqI6

At first, you may notice the simplicity of Mayfield copying Favre’s outfit and pose with an old-school phone in his hand.
When you start to look in the background, though, that’s when things get weird.
Take the first two gentlemen sitting on the bed with Favre, for example. Now, look at Mayfield’s photo. Even the man in the yellow shirt has the unfortunate “you took this photo at the wrong time for me” look down.
There are the draft shirts copied to perfection for those standing but look at those individuals. There’s the woman on the far left with the camera, the woman next to her with a camera and the man standing on the right even has a fedora on and his left hand placed on the wall.
The crucial detail you’ll notice missing is below that man’s hand in Favre’s photo is a child sneaking a peek at Favre’s phone conversation, but we will give Mayfield a pass.
