Suns could get help in Redd

Nobody will deny that through two games, the Phoenix Suns are struggling
mightily with their offense.

But help could be on the way.

Arizona Sports 620’s John Gambadoro tweeted on Wednesday night after
Phoenix’s 103-83 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers that the Suns are expected
to sign free agent guard Michael Redd to a contract as early as Thursday.

Redd, 32, is an 11-year veteran who has spent his entire career with the
Milwaukee Bucks. He’s averaged 20.0 points per game over his career,
which has been ravaged by injury the last three years.

The slick lefty-shooting guard has played a total of 61 games since the
beginning of the 2008-09 season, and twice torn both the ACL and MCL in
his left knee. Redd returned from his second extensive rehab last March,
and played in 10 games for the Bucks averaging 4.4 points per game while
shooting 40% from the floor.

Redd worked out for the Suns on Tuesday.
